UCC28070: Output goes down in low frequency immunity test

Part Number: UCC28070

Hello,

I am using UCC28070 to create a circuit and evaluate it.

I'm doing a low frequency immunity test right now.
(Test to add harmonics to AC input waveform)
When this test is performed, the output of PFC goes down.

If the input waveform distortion affects this device, I think it's a VINAC detection, but could you advise me on an approach to solving the problem?

Best regards,

  • Hi Kaji,

The quantized multiplier of the UCC28070 requires that the VINAC input pin detects the zero crossings (below 0.7V for at least 50uS) in order to set the correct multiplier level. I can't tell from the waveforms whether this is that case for your input signal.

    Regards,

    Ray
