Hello
We want to use BQ79614 as a replacement for Bq79616 as they both are pin compatible. We would like to know how the registers such as CEllV-16 (MSB-LSB) are handled for BQ79614.
Are these registers reserved or restricted. We are unable to find any details regarding the same.
Regards
Gopal and Nisha
Hello Gopal and Nisha,
Yes the BQ79614 is a drop-in replacement for the BQ79616 with 14-channels instead of 16. The registers for unused channels are ignored or will contain 0s.
