LM5050-1: any indicator to show the status? forward direction or reverse block

Can you please elaborate further on your requirement.  Do you want to have a digital signal output which provides information on the direction of current flow - forward or reverse ? 

i want to know the current flow, forward direction or reverse

Hi Chen,

LM5050-1 allows only forward current flow. It does not allow flow of current in reverse direction. 

If you can measure the Gate-Source voltage, you will be able to detect if there is forward current flow. When there is flow of current in forward direction, the Gate-Source is high. If there is reverse current flow, the Gate-Source is low (Shorted with input).

May I know what is the input voltage and load current range in your application. 

1. Vin = 8~48V, 
2. Current:5A

IF the current rating need 50A?
