TPS3620: Manual reset and internal power feedback issues.

Part Number: TPS3620

Trying to figure out the Manual Reset.  It is pulled up internally to VDD, but when VDD disappears, what happens?  It looks like it might actually reset the switch into a state I don't want, then back, etc.  I don't want another pullup to VBAT for power reasons.

Additionally, voltage on VOUT seems to have a feedback effect on the comparator controlling the switch.  If I have larger capacitors on the output, even a supercapacitor, it will back feed VDD for a long time, delaying the FAIL output we are depending on for power moding.  I feel I will have so many diodes in the circuit by the time I work around these issues, I might as well not use the part at all.
