When using the BQ40Z50 in conjunction with a microcontroller what is the recommended way for the microcontroller software to determine that the BQ is in charging mode.
It could be done by using the SBS commands to monitor the current but I would like to know it there is a recommended approach like reading an individual bit in a register etc
