The TPS53355 does not implement the Remote Over Voltage Protection (ROVP) function of the TPS53318, but they are otherwise pin to pin compatible.
The reduced Rdson of the power FETs in the TPS53355 will change the Rtrip to Current Limit current function, so you will likely want to revisit the setting of Rtrip, but otherwise, they are circuit compatible.
