TPS54060: Operating below -20C

Hi,

Good day.

Our customer would like to know, does the TPS54060DGQR have trouble turning on at temperatures below -20°C or -30°C?

    Hi Cedrick,

    This device is rated for operation at -40C junction temperature so it should have no trouble starting up at -20C or -30C. 

    Care should be taken when selecting the passive components around the converter, particularly input and output capacitors since their values will be affected by the temperature.
