Hi Team,

just want to check if we have below

Vin=16V, Vout=4.5V~12V, when Vout=12V, Iout=3A. I2C interface.

I check the website and there seems TPS542A50, 10A, so I think adding a resistor divider can achieve higher Vout. But datasheet mentioned it doesn't suggest to add external resistor. So please kindly check and also propose suitable solution. Thanks.

Have you considered the https://www.ti.com/product/TPS65400

I2C and the output voltage is to 16V.

The TPS65400 supports the output voltage needed and the power stage on 1 channel is more optimal than a single 15A power stage.

For both devices, the customer is getting a lot more than is needed for a 3A load current.
