My apologies, I just saw your last reply to my inquiry as I was deleting old email.
So, the TPS25940L (eFuse) is separate from the power supply but the VIN (12V) does come from the Main PSU (upstream). The eFuse being used as a Hot Swap Power Controller for the Fan Trays (downstream). Meaning it is intended to separate the 12V Main from the 12V for the Fan Tray and some relays. So the eFuse is doing it's job with the exception of the very rare occasion when an extraction causes a fault and the downstream Fan Tray and Relays power is interrupted due to the fault. The 12V upstream for everything is okay.
I am using VIN = 12V and eFuse current of 1A maximum steady state and 2A during a very short duration for Fan Startup. The extraction fault eFuse current is closer to 0.8A.
