LM63625-Q1: LM63625-Q1: Do we have Fsw as 2.1MHz for HTSSOP package as well, by just direct connecting RT pin to AGND? Or is this available only with WSON Package?

Part Number: LM63625-Q1

Dear E2E TI community,

LM63625-Q1: Do we have Fsw as 2.1MHz for HTSSOP package as well, by just direct connecting RT pin to AGND? Or is this available only with WSON Package?

What I understood from below data sheet snap that if i choose HTSSOP package then for 2.1MHz switching frequency i have to connect resistor through RT pin to GND. But in WSON Package we don't need resistor to set 2.1MHz, just direct connect RT to AGND.

Could you please help me in understanding whether is it correct or it is independent of package?

Waiting for your kind response.

Thanks

  • Hello

    I understand your confusion.

I have attached a graphic that should help to clarify.

This device is available in two packages with three different pin-outs.

As shown below in RED, the HTSSOP has an RT pin that can be used to program the frequency.

The WSON version, in BLUE, also has an RT pin that functions the same as with the HTSSOP package.

The WSON version (C), shown in GREEN, does not have the RT pin, and features a fixed frequency of 2.1MHz.

When you order any of the WSON versions, for example LM63615DQDRRRQ1, you will get the pin-out shown in BLUE.

The pin-out shown in GREEN is only a preview and is not yet available.  If you are interested in the GREEN pin-out, please

    contact your TI representative.

    Thanks

  • Hello Frank,

Thank you so much for clarifying my doubt.

Just in addition, so can we achieve 2.1MHz in HTSSOP package by just connecting RT pin directly to GND?

    Thanks & Regards

  • Hello

    Correct.

    Thanks
