Tool for making vertical mounting pins to horizontal mounting pins

Hi Team,

Could you help on our customer's concern?

They have remaining stock of PT6405P with them but due to oboslescene we can not confirm if we can use it to replace PT6405D.

If no other solution. Kindly suggest a tool for making vertical mounting pins to horizontal mounting pins. Package drawing and datasheet is attached for same.

Hi Jonathan,

Both of the parts you listed are obsolete, are no longer listed on the TI website, are obsolete. As far as bending pins go, that's up to the customer to verify that they can bend the pins in such a way that's mechanically stable and consistent. I strongly advise to not bend the pins as it could cause unforeseen mechanical issue such as cracked pins.
