Hello team,

one of my customer does not use UVLO of LM5163-Q1. Will 47k ohm work as a pull up for EN from VIN?

What is the current required to drive this pin? What is the abs max?

Please share the details for driving such a configuration.

Hello

As found in the abs. max. table of the data sheet, the EN input can withstand 100V.

This pin can be directly connected to VIN if the EN feature is not needed. It can be tied to

VIN through a 10k resistor if desired. There should only be a small leakage current into this pin.

Hello Frank,

The customer was traditionally using an UVLO circuit with Rupper as 47 k ohm. And they are not keen change the BOM when the UVLO is no longer required. So 47 kohm pull up shall not be a problem right?

What is the minimum current required to drive the EN pin?

A 47k is acceptable.

There should only be leakage current on that pin; in the 100nA range.
