BQ27546-G1: BQ27546

Part Number: BQ27546-G1

Dear all

I have a question about  BQ27546.  How  to  configure  to make  SE pin output high level when OTC  event.

Thanks

zeng

  • Hello Liqang,

You cannot configure the SE pin as an interrupt. You can configure the OTC to trigger the HDQ pin for interrupt.

[EDIT] You can configure the SE pin for interrupts based on section 2.4.2 Interrupt Mode of the TRM.

All the information is in the TRM, some of the configuration settings are in section 2.2 Li-Ion Protection.

    Sincerely,

    Wyatt Keller

  • Hi  Wyatt

Well note and thanks for your reply.

I did get  the SE pin  high level when OTC  event.  But , I encountered  another problem.   when the  OTC clear ,  HDQ  or  SE  can not  reset to low level. it still keep high level.

    Sincerely.

  • Hello Zeng,

Sorry for the confusion, I have corrected my previous post.

What is the configuration of your interrupt bits? SE_PU and INTPOL along with your design can influence how the interrupt is cleared.

    Sincerely,

    Wyatt Keller

  • Both SE_PU   and  INTPOL  are set to 1.  But still  fail  to  achive SE  reset to low level.

    Best regards

  • Hello Zeng,

How are you able to reset the interrupt? Is the only way to reset the gauge? With that configuration you should see the interrupt clear when OTC is cleared, as long as there are no other interrupts present.

    Sincerely,

    Wyatt Keller
