Hello,
We've been using the TPS53513 on one of our product for a couple of years without any problem but on the last batch Vout happens to be out of spec.
When the board is idle (low power), we measure FB at 0.6247 V and 0.6272 V on two boards.
On two other boards from a previous - working - batch we get 0.5996V and 0.6009V.
Our assumption is that the voltage on FB pin equals the internal Vref when power consumption is stable and regulation is working. So we should meet Vref spec ie 597mV to 603mV.
With this 25 mV difference, the TPS53513 on this batch seems way out of spec.
This new batch involves a new PCB but nothing changed with respect to this DC/DC (design and ECAD are the same).
We did a try with 1A of added power consumption on Vout to see if the skip mode could be involved. No change.
Q1: Can the parts be flawed ? Did any other user get the same issue ?
Q2: What test would you suggest ?
With many thanks in advance.
Thomas
