Since this device has foldback current limit protection, the current value should typically become stable within 100uSec of the shorting event. Thanks!

Hello Shoo,

Yes, in the event of overcurrent or shorting, the output voltage is pulled low, foldback protection should kick-in and the current should become stable, all typically within 100uSec. Thanks!
