TPS63000: VINA pin connection

Hi team,

My customer is asking me about the VINA pin.

The datasheet recommends this as a input which drives the control stage, but the functional block diagram also shows this pulled up to VIN (and what is the value of the pull-up?)

Can you advise how this should be connected?

Hi Lauren,

the block bellow? i think they are separated and connected with external resister.

you can connect VINA to VIN directly or with a RC filter, both are ok. because, mostly, the input is clear enough.

I disagree - not sure where you got the figure but look at datasheet revised October 1019 figure 3 and 7. I believe VINA is connected to VIN internally thru a resistor. What value is that resistor?
