TPS628502: Looking for Rise time and fall time of internal FET.

Hi,

I looking into the datasheet and i could see Rdson value for HS and LS internal mosfet. I need to know the switching rise time of this FET for my further internal loss calculation.

Kindly share the value if anyone knows.

Hi,

Typically we do not share this information in the datasheet. However, you can have an understanding of the rise & fall time from the SW waveform. I can perform some measurements and update you by tomorrow.

Hello Bala,

I measured the rise and fall times on a standard EVM for TPS628502EVM-092 with the following conditions:

Vin- 5V, Vout- 1.8V, L- 470 nH, Cout- 2 x 10µF, Iout- 1A

- High side MOSFET rise time

- High side MOSFET fall time
