Hello,

GPIO pins on the TPS65916 devices are configured through the one time programming (OTP) for that specific device. For TPS659163 the GPIO pin functions can be seen in section 5.5 of TPS65916 User's Guide to Power AM570x (Rev. A). For more information about the GPIO pins of the TPS65916 devices in general section 5.9 of the datasheet has information on this.

Is OTP programming is compulsory. The sections mentioned above is not clear. It is not telling how to program it. Is it a factory setting? How can I do this on board?

OTP programming is done in the factory and cannot be changed by the customer.

For a schematic review please review your schematic against our design checklist (found here) and compile your comments. We will provide a final review based on this checklist and your comments.
