Hello E2E,
Customer purchased the UCC25640EVM-020 for a reproduction experiment and installed the UCC256403 on the EVM.
The UCC256403 is a device that was removed from the power supply that was rejected in the shipping test at customer.
The device was repeatedly turned on and off several times and could not establish a sufficient boot state.
Modifications to EVM have been made according to the User Guide (Rev. B).
Furthermore, at the will of customer, R14 (Risens) has been changed from 133Ω to 15Ω.
In the above settings, if the ON / OFF operation is repeated under a light load (Iout = 180mA), the power supply will fail to start.
They are asking for the reason and countermeasures.
Does TI could answer about them?
