TPS2042B: Switch is not turned OFF even after the En pin is pulled high(Active Low EN).

Part Number: TPS2042B

I am using TPS2042B to turn ON and off the IC's to incorporate sleep mode in our application. IN is supplied with 5V, when EN is pulled low the output pin  is working fine I read approx. 5V in Multimeter but when the EN is pulled high I read 3.7 on the output, My guess is gate driver hasn't driven the  MOSFET into cutoff mode and current is drawn by the load so that's why the drop across the switch and the remaining is appeared on the output.

Is it a damage internally or the problem from my side on how I conducted
