Hi engineers:
1st. 2-Phase design. The registers are all default, but with over current problem.
in this case 8Ch is 0x0d
2st. 2-Phase design. registers 46h and 4Ah are changed.
question: Is there a formula for calculating the current by using the value of reg 8Ch?
THS.
Best wishes.
Hello,
The output current is read only. The Gain can be calibrated register IOUT_CAL_GAIN (38h) but no calibration is needed if Smart power stage is used. Also offset can be calibrated IOUT_CAL_OFFSET (39h).
Reading the Output Current
The average output current for the converter is readable using the READ_IOUT command. The results of this
command support only positive or current sourced from the converter. If the converter is sinking current the result
of this command is a reading of 0 A.
