SN1701022 || ACSN pin connection when using two phase

Hi,

CSN is connected to VREF and connected to REFIN of SPS. It's reference level for current sense report between controller and SPS.

PWM1 & PWM3 combination is not allowed if you set 2-phase configuration.

Thanks for Replying. Do we need  to  disconnect  ACSN 2 and  3  for  single  phase  ,and  what  should be  connection for  2 phase  also  when using  PWM1 and PWM2 .

I understand that i need to select  active phase  as  per  given table . But  conecren here is  ACSN pins  not  ACSP pins  . 

In Datasheet  it is  given that 

We  need to  connect all ACSN1,ACSN3 and ACSN4 to vref  Pin .

But On page  116  in schematic  for 3 phase ACSN4  is  not  connected

. why  this  difference  is there and  how i need to connect  ACSN1, ACSN2, ACSN 4 for one phase and 2 phase both. I am  refering  July 2017  rev of datasheet.

Hi,

For CSN connection, just floating if the phase is not used. The schematic in the datasheet is a 3-phase application, so ACSP4 is connected to 3.3V and ACSN1 & ACSN3 are connected to VREF. ACSN4 is floating.

Thanks  for  confirmation derrick .  For  2  phase I should  connect to ACSN1 to 3.3 and rest  should be  left  floating.
