Is it an acceptable use of this device to tie the PWM & Supply input pin (I) together to receive a PWM input signal (24V or 35 V; 200 Hz) for varying the output LED power.
What considerations should be thought of?

Ed,
We have taken data with the TL4242 EVM with I and PWM pulsing from 0V to 12V through 40V and duty cycles from 10% to 100% (200Hz) and see no issues at all.
A summary of the data will be posted upon complete analysis.
Considerations should be Thermal dissipation at the high duty cycle end along with power up / down timing at the low duty cycle end.
Regards,
Dick
