Hi team,
I know that the TPS53667 has internal OC protection, can you share how much time it take to response the OC case? I mean what is the gap time from the point where OC is detected to the time where protecting action is taken?
Thanks a lot!

Hi Nini,
Do you mean OCL or OCP? OCL is cycle by cycle. For response time of OCP I would need to check with the team.
Can I understand that OCL response time is dependent on the switching frequency, but OCP is not? It will be wonderful if you can help to check the OCP response time. Thanks Qingquan!
Hi Qingquan,
The customer is a little bit urgent with this question and they want to locate the root cause of abnormal shutting down. Could you help to check this question today? Look forward to your response!
Hi Nini,
I am checking OCP with internal team, it may take some time to get response.
For OCL it is based on valley current detection, and it may skip the next PWM pulses until current drops below threshold.
What was the fault reported?
The customer's feedback is the OCP protection, and the device enters hiccup mode. Do you have any progress about the OCP mechanism, especially the response time?
Hi Nini,
I am still waiting for response on this. No update yet. I will check again with internal team.
So OCP is the only fault? Did they monitored the current?
