LM5145: 12V Vin to 0.85Vout/35A

Hi team

Could you help check if LM5145 is a good option for the 12V to 0.85V/35A application?

WEBENCH shows its maximum load current is only 20A, and the product folder shows its maximum load current is 30A, and both are smaller than the 35A requirements

    Hi Shawn,

    You can consider LM5143-Q1 in dual-phase (interleaved) mode.

    We don't recommend larger than ~20 or 25A per phase, the I^2*R power losses increase power dissipation and thermals at high currents.

    I wouldn't recommend LM5145 as it is only a single phase controller, it is possible but could have lower efficiency and higher temperatures.
