TPS2065C-2: operation if Vin is greater than Vuvlo and less than Vin min

Part Number: TPS2065C-2

Vin min is 4.5V
Vuvlo is 3.75Vtyp

If Vin is, for example 4.1V, what will happen if nEN is 4.1V? Will the output be fully off? This is the scenario I'm hoping.

I need to know if the part will appear off if the nEN is pulled high and Vin is below Vin min.

I will only use the device switched on if Vin is above 4.5V.

Thanks

  • Hi Mark,

From our data sheet, the recommended mini input voltage is 4.5V, it means we recommend that you can use the input voltage higher than 4.5V, but it does not mean our device will not work in the lower than 4.5V. Actually our UVLO input voltage the maximum is 4V, it means if you VIN voltage higher than 4V, and EN is high too, then our device will work. So the question 'If Vin is, for example 4.1V, what will happen if nEN is 4.1V? Will the output be fully off? '  answer is NO, our device will work in this situation.

    Best Regards,

    Kuno
