Good day. My customer wanted to know the difference between switch current and load current with some practical example, whether it is related to time or etc.

Hi Renan,
In customer's application, 600mA is the load current.
The input voltage/output voltage is written in this thread.
For example, if the Vin is 3.3V, Vout is 5V, load current is 600mA, assume efficiency is 92%, the input DC current = 5V*600mA/3.3V/0.92=0.98A. For boost topology, the input DC current = inductor average current, considering inductor current ripple, the inductor peak current is little big higher than 0.98A.
Switch current refers to inductor peak current.
