Hello Preethi, The absmax specification is 38V for TPS560430-Q1, with this specification usually supporting most auto load dump profiles unless otherwise specified.
Typically, most auto oems I see clamp the battery voltage to 33V to allow for additional margin on the absmax.
I would confirm what their required absmax spec is.
If they need absmax to be >40V, then potentially, LMR43610-Q1 maybe a good fit with its absmax spec on Vin being 42V.
Hello Marshal,
Thanks for your immediate response!
The absmax specification is actually 80V for the system. We have added a 39V zener before the input capacitor to cut down the voltage to <40V.
Please find the design below for your reference.

Hello Preethi,
I think the customer will need to ensure the worst-case clamp voltage on Vin is below the absmax. The nominal clamp voltage of 39V right now exceeds this device absmax.
In addition I recommend:
1. Additional 2.2uF ceramic capacitor on Vin
