LM25184: 12V to 8~9V/2A application

Hi team

My customer is designing an isolated power board: 

  • Vin=12V 
  • Outpuut=8~9V/2A

Could you help check if LM25184 is a good option for this application? Do you have other recommendations?

    With the team's offerings available, a flybuck solution potentially maybe a good fit.

    The flyback solutions we have available have two low of sw current limit and would require too high of a turns ratio, which would exceed the absmax on SW.

    The flybuck solution could enable the customer power condition at a consequence of poorer line and load reguation, and also, potentially efficiency.
