UCC14240-Q1: Exact value of active-high enable input (ENA)

Part Number: UCC14240-Q1

Please let me know the exact range of value that should be given to the active-high enable input (ENA) pin of this IC so as to turn-on the isolated DC/DC converter, please tell the exact trigger voltage at this ENA pin, so that this isolated DC/DC Converter gets turned ON, Since we are using it for an automotive application, the value should be very precise.

  • Hi Ananthu,

The data sheet shows the maximum high (2.1V) and minimum low (0.8V) internal thresholds for the Enable pin.

You must apply at least 2.1V to turn the device on.

You must apply lower than 0.8V to turn the device off.

These thresholds are compatible with 3.3V or 5V logic.

Do not apply voltages between 0.8V - 2.1V because it's not guaranteed to be a high or low.

    Regards,

    Eric
