TPS65721: CHGSTATE TESET after disconnecting from usb charger

Also, seems like there is another error - when device on charge, DCDC1 is active, even when switch pulled HIGH. No HOLD, DCDC_HOLD pulled LOW.

When you disconnect the USB adapter are you disconnecting power to the whole system leaving only the battery connection? I believe battery charging can only be done while the external adapter is connected. The CHGSTATE register is just a status indicator. I would expect the charging control to reset if you disconnect the main power.

Also could you reword your second question about DCDC1? I am having a hard time understanding the issue you are seeing.

yes, thank you - It was unclear from datasheet that CHGSTATE refers only to charger, no the whole device, so i thought that it is some kind of malfunction on threshold pin. DCDC1 issue is that it's working all the time when device is charding - even if pb_in is high and dcdc1_hold is zero
