LM5176: Increasing VIN range

Part Number: LM5176
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5156

Hey guys,

I have an application where the LM5156 VIN range of up to 55V should work, but may need to go up to as high as 70V.  I'm hoping it will stay below 60V but I don't know that specification yet and I would hate to run it so close to it's max due to possible transients.

My question is it looks like Vin could be powered from an external supply (which I have on board) and Vbias could be supplied with the output (24V) or external supply.  So it looks like the only other pins restricting the higher voltage would be VISNS and VOSNS.  Is this correct?  And if so, could they be scaled down equally with resistor dividers to put the voltages within range or will this disrupt the compensation/control loop?

Thanks for any help.
