I noticed that the figure 18 in the datasheet do not cover peak current limit which is lower than 5A. I need to recheck it in EVM board. I will give you feedback after checked in EVM. Really thanks for your understanding.

We have unencrypted pspice average model for TPS65279V. You can use this Pspice model to simulate.  TPS65279V and TPS65279 have similar compensation parameters.

I have checked peak current limit value on TPS65279 EVM board. When Rlimit is 200k, peak current limit is around 3.28A. I also checked when Rlimit is set as 249k, peak current limit will be around 3.06A. Thus, TPS65279 can acheive 3A current limit if you adjust Rlimt. Please also kindly find the waveform when Rlimit =249k.

For the Pspice model, I will check soon and give you response.

   Below is the error message I am getting while running TPS65279 average model. It is detecting that imported model has transistors or diodes.TPS65270 model running good without any issue.

Sorry for late response. I also downloaded the model and I could run this model and got the simulation result. Not sure whether it is related with the version of the software. I can have an internal check with our Pspice team to double confirm this.
