Dear Team,

We’re looking for a fuel gauge IC for the next generation BT Audio SoC evaluation. Do you know if the BQ27421-G1 is already in MP phase? Or other TI suggestions?

    Hello Jimmy,

    It depends on what their system requirements are. The BQ27421-G1 is a ROM gauge, so it is less configurable and settings are not saved in flash. This means accuracy may be less and it requires less setup and the cost is lower than a flash gauge. If they need higher configurability the BQ27Z561-R2 flash based gauge may be a better choice.
