LP5520: usage of temperature sensor

Hi team,

I received the following question at my customer:

"We're planning to use the LP5520 on the next iteration of our project, and we're wondering if it is necessary to use the temperature sensor, and how should we implement it, given that in our case, the RGB LEDs will be spread out in a single row of around 186mm."

What determines is the temp sensor is needed? Are there any other information that is needed to answer the question?

First, I want to check what end equipment / application customer uses with LP5520. Is it for backlighting purposes or 1-string RGB LEDs?
The temp sensor is not compulsory; it depends on customer's requirement on white balance. For more detailed illustration, please refer to Section #7.3.2.1 White Balance Control for more info.
