BQ25792: Accessing with EV2400 and BqStudio

Part Number: BQ25792
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO, USB-PD-CHG-EVM-01, EV2400, TPS25750

Hello,

I have a USB-PD-CHG-EVM-01, and was trying to connect to it via the J7 connector on the board to my EV2400, and look at the registers via BqStudio. This has not been working, and I'm trying to understand what we're doing wrong.

1) I found the .bqz file on the forum, and placed it into C:\ti\BatteryManagementStudio\config. (Link: https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/970132/bq25792-can-t-find-bqz-file-for-bq25792-in-the-bqstudio-or-in-ti-com)

2) I connected the EV2400 from Port 2 (I2C) to the J7 connector on the EVM.

BqStudio reported no ack from the device, which seems to match what I'm seeing looking with a logic analyzer. I can see it acking messages from the TPS25750 when I power up the board. Any idea what we're doing wrong?

Thanks,
