Hi team,

My customer points out that the words SLAVE_ADDRESS and Loop Follower_ADDRESS are mixed up in the datasheet.

In the table 7-14, Loop Follower_ADDRESS should be SLAVE_ADDRESS.

I suspect this should be due to a mistake from simple search & replace process applied to TPS546D24A datasheet.

I also find SLVAE_ADDRESS survived from this process in p.140.

Could you please double check?

Yes, these was recently noticed elsewhere, and will be updated. Thank you for pointing it out. Also, thank you for catching the remaining use of "Slave"

Per the update of SMBus 3.2 and PMBus 1.4, documentation will be moving to use "Device Address" and "Target Address".

Thank you for checking. Let me double check.

In Table7-14 and 7-15, it mentions LOOP FOLLOWER ADDRESS, but it is actually slave address of PMBus, and also the address is for loop controller, not loop follower.

Is my understanding correct?

Yes, that is correct.

It is the PMBus Device Address for the stack, which interfaces through the Loop Controller. It was accidentally changed during a language update to remove Master / Slave from the datasheet.
