I am searching proper eFuse devices.

Input power is 12V. Various DC voltages are regulated for board inside and 5V board outside.

I think that two types of eFuse are required.

One is for 12V input / 13A max current. it needs OVP and negative input protection function.

The other is for 5V output / 15A max current. it needs negative output protection and short output protection function.

Upto how much voltage you need negative input protection?

Is 13A/15A continuous current or some peak transient?

Hi Kunal,

13A/15A is not a continuous current. However, I am not sure how much ampere will be continuous current.

Negative input protection for 12V input means reverse input polarity protection.

For 5V output, I am not sure if eFuse is requried or not. 5V is power source for another board.

Please have look at TPS25947. It has all the features you need. For more current we can parallel devices.

The power tree was changed. Input 12V is supplied to another board through my board. There is no need to regulate 5V.

1> TPS259472L

Can I connect TPS259472L devices in parallel with PG pin? It looks like that only TPS259470x can be in parallel on datasheet Figure 9-18.

2> Is it possible that three devices connected in parallel?

Hi Yoonsun,

1. Yes you can connect TPS259472 in parallel. You can connect PG of one device to EN of second device.

2. Yes you can parallel three devices.

I plan to use two TPS259472 in parallel for my board and a TPS259472 for another board.

I attached block diagam.

Is ther a better configuration to recommend?
