UCC5870-Q1: Can the VCECLP Pin be left unconnected?

Part Number: UCC5870-Q1

We are using the UCC5870-Q1 IC for driving high power IGBT's. 

Can the VCECLP (Pin 34) on the UCC5870-Q1 be left unconnected (or connected to ground) if the VCECLP functionality is not going to be used?
