Hi Team,

We have used TPS560430YFQDBVRQ1 in an automotive design.

The input operating voltage ranges from 7V to 16V. The typical voltage is 13.5V.

The required output current is ~500mA

Kindly review the following schematics and layout and provide your valuable feedback.

Please find the layout

Feedback resistors placed on the bottom layer just below the SMPS IC

Hi Preethi,

1. Place 2.2uF 50V on VIN and GND

2. Add 0.1uF 10V on output 3.3V rail, place it close to inductor.

3. C138 and additional 2.2uF/50V must be placed close to IC Pin3/4, route GND trace underneath the IC package.
