EV2400: how to enable VOUT1 3.3V output

Hi,

can you please let me know how can I enable VOUT1 3.3V output on EV2400, I would like to use it to power external electronics.

Hello Jun,

Vout can be set to 0V or 5V only.

To control this pin, Start bqStudio and select any bq40z50 device. Then click on "Registers" tab. Go to menu "Autocycle" and use the "2 pin control" "Enable load" to change the status. Checkbox next to that menu means it is set to 5V, otherwise it is set to 0V

thanks for the reply. how about the WOD.2 inthe schmeatic of EV2400? what is the avaliable output voltage on that pin please?

Hello Jun,

We designed the EV2400 for gauge evaluation. The extra options were for future extensibility. These were not required and therefore are not implemented in bqStudio.
