Hi Expert,

I see below in datasheet and it's very confusing. Also, I want to know more details about discharge function. How much is the "defined ramp-down speed"? Thanks.

    Hi Elec,

    Please refer to the first line for tRAMP (1.3ms typical value).

    This is the only soft start time currently available for TPS62850x-Q1. 

    The output discharge function will enable a resistance of maximum value 100Ohm that discharges the output.

    Of course the discharge time will depend by VOUT, COUT and residual IOUT.

    Please refer to the datasheet for further details.
