LM25118: LM25118 PSPİCE FAİL

thank you for using the E2E forum.

can you please try to use another type of MOSFET model, e.g. the default MOSFET. I have seen sometimes that the model of this MOSFET make issues within a switched mode power supply design.

Thank you for your intention. I used as a default nmos but it didnt make change .

I also used default diodes.

The transient model  was already  in the  library so  I didnt download and import it into the project.

What  else can be ?

I also simülated in TINA-TI .

This worked better  but VOUT voltage must be 24V based on resistor calculatıon that picked 1k and 18.7k and the output voltage nearly 20V.When I change the resistor values the output voltage does not change.

is this transient model work properly for both TINA-TI and PSPİCE FOR TI?

can you please direct me to the location where you have taken this PSpice project from.

I have checked the one which is in PSpice installation package and and also the one which is on the product page but i see a completely different design.

Firstly I simülated in power designer and also checked the components values according to datasheet.

Then I built the curcuit in the Pspice and Tına-TI.

I used referance design for TINA-TI and  just changed the components .

For Pspice I built with the default library and there was alredy a model of LM25118 in pspice so I did not use any transient model for importing.

Hi,

we still trying to find the root case of the convergence issue but so for without great success.

What you can try on your side as well is to start from the example which is provided within PSpice and adopt it to your setup.
