Do we have a boost  from 2.5-3.3V to 5V/0.5A,but also has sense for 5V input (USB) to have also 5V output?

(If the boost see 5V at the input,he will transfer it to the output,or will continu to set the outout to 5V).

  • Texas Instruments has a wide selection of power supply ICs to choose from.  You can search on these at www.ti.com, select Power Management and then enter your electrical parameters.  You will need to reveiw the search results in detail and choose an IC that meets your needs.  With a boost converter, if Vin>Vout, the IC typically passes the input straight through to the output.  You will need to review the specific datasheet to under each ICs specific operation with that condition.

  • The the TPS61200.  It has down mode and so will regulate the output voltage even if Vin>=Vo.
