TPS7A03: Marking question for PS7A0318DBVR

Hi TI team,

Thank you for your support.

I have a question for TPS7A0318DBVR parts marking.

TPS7A0318DBVR is 2CET when search parts marking lookup in TI website.

TPS7A0318PDBVR is 21VF

But all of our TI TPS7A0318DBVR labeled stock marking is 21VF (instead 2CET).

I belive those two parts difference is lead finish materials.

Parts # | Lead finish | Parts marking

TPS7A0318DBVR = SN = 2CET

TPS7A0318PDBVR= NIPDAU | SN = 21VF

It seems like labeling error. Or is there any other reason to proof those are correct part?

I could think.

1. Labeling error

2. Product change

3. Data Error (might be TPS7A0318DBVR and TPS7A0318PDBVR marking information are opposite)

Can you give us an advice?

Is this the same in regards this other thread?

(4) TPS7A03: topside marking is different than datasheet - Power management forum - Power management - TI E2E support forums.

We are currently looking into why they are showing the same top side marking when they should have

TPS7A0318DBVR = SN = 2CET

TPS7A0318PDBVR= NIPDAU | SN = 21VF

I know it's only lead finish difference.

But that's so important for the customer.

His line stopping 7 days now. Please let us know when you find out as soon as you can.

I tracked down the material from the LOT # shown in the other thread and confirmed that the material is in fact TPS7A0318DBVR. We are currently working on our end to get this issue fixed.
