BQ2060A: Is there any difference between BQ2060A-E619DBQ and the BQ2060ADBQ

Hello,

I am trying to order some chips for an existing project, the current design BOM states the BQ2060A-E619DBQ is what we are using. Digikey and several other suppliers note they are out of stock on this but some note they do have stock of BQ2060ADBQ. I cannot find any information about the second part number on TI's site or other sites. Would someone be able to clarify the difference?

I have also seen both of the above part numbers suffixed with an R, it appears that just a difference between a tube and a roll sale unit? Could anyone confrim?

Hello Tim,

The BQ2060ADBQ is not an active orderable device. If it was supplied by TI in the past, then it is obsolete. There are multiple reasons for a part becoming obsolete, therefore we cannot say for sure. I would expect there to be some minor differences at least.

Yes, the suffix R is usually used for Reel. Each orderable has more information in the datasheet like this
