Are you trying to disable the PMIC watchdog? You can do this by writing 0 to WD_EN bit in the WD_THR_CFG register.

I tried Board_getI2CHandle(BOARD_SOC_DOMAIN_MCU, BOARD_I2C_PMIC_INSTANCE), but unable to detect i2c device.

Please help me to detect this i2c device 1(addr 0x12).

Able to detect the MCU i2c using Board_getI2CHandle(BOARD_SOC_DOMAIN_MCU, 1);

But while reading register value, board status is failing.

Calling Board_tps65941WdtDisable(handle, 0x12, 0) in sbl_soc.c

boardStatus = Board_i2c8BitRegRd(handle,

                                     slaveAddr,

                                     BOARD_TPS65941_WDT_THR_CFG,

                                     &regData,

                                     BOARD_I2C_NUM_OF_BYTES_01,

                                     BOARD_I2C_TRANSACTION_TIMEOUT);

This is failing with boardStatus as -1. Invalid parameter.

Please suggest me how to disable watchdog in SBL?

Can you confirm that your code is using the dedicated I2C PHY for the watchdog?

I am using TDA4VM eval board with SDK 8.1.

In u-boot, able to change the register values of watchdog(i2c dev - 1, slave addr -0x12 , register - 0x409).

I am trying to disable in SBL(tiboot3.tiimage).
