hi team:

my customer is the first time to use the VR13 platform ,so they modifies one board without the CPU ,just mounts the VR13 power part.

So I want to confirm that without the CPU and SVID function. Does the VR13 can output normally? if it works ,we can test this special board and output a proper config. file, and burn it to the normal mainboard.

Hi Allen,

Yes it is still possible to get circuit operation with physical enable switch or PMbus command, without CPU and SVID. You will need all control voltage such as 3.3V, 5V, 12V turned on though.

tks for your feedback, now the sample board is working now. just wants to double confirm that it there any familiar case report that the SN controller suddenly stopped sending PWM? And we used an oscilloscope to test that EN was pulled high, and then output again. The output is about 20MS, and then the controller suddenly turned off the PWM output.

i will double confirm monitor status and try to disable and enable again.

Hi Allen,

Please check the status and see if any fault reported caused the operation stopped.
