Hi,

What do you think the best way would be to test the included PSFB firmware in open loop so I can just see the DPWM signals without connecting the evaluation board?

I would like to see the DPWM signals from the UCD3138 stand-alone, using the included firmware.

Should I disconnect the filter, take it out of normal mode, turn off CLA?

Would it be faster to do it from the GUI? I basically wanted to measure the dead times, and I was having some trouble getting accurate results

If you disable the faults including input under voltage fault, output under voltage faults ( both ADC12 and ACOMP), you can get DPWM output.

Disable the faults where exactly? I thought I had disabled the faults but I might be missing some somewhere since I still don’t have any DPWM output.

Hello,

1) Disable analog comparators:

FaultMuxRegs.ACOMPCTRL0.bit.ACOMP_EN = 0;

2). Disable digital comparators:

FaultMuxRegs.DCOMPCTRL0.bit.COMP_EN =0;

3).#define VIN_SUFFICIENT (1) //(adc_values.vin_mon > pmbus_dcdc_config_translated[0].vin_on )
#define VIN_NOT_SUFFICIENT (0) //(adc_values.vin_mon < pmbus_dcdc_config_translated[0].vin_off)
#define VIN_UV_FAULT (0) //(adc_values.vin_mon < pmbus_dcdc_config_translated[0].vin_uv_fault_limit)

4). No Under voltage protection .

// fault_type = UNDER_VOLTAGE;

Maybe in some other places, you need to remove fault protections
