TPS92513EVM-001: Inductor's sound noise.

Hi team,

When 100 Hz is input to PDIM, the sound is heard from the inductor.
Is there any way to improve this?
Please let me know the countermeasure other than changing the inductor.
And, I want to use only PDIM to narrow down the Duty, so analog dimming cannot be used.

What is the reason for changing the switching frequency?

I think the input PDIM frequency is visible at the output.
So, I don't see why changing fsw would make it better.

Hi Kengo,

You mean that you can see the 100Hz ripple at the output? If it's possible, you can capture the waveform and share with me. If what you said is true, then the sound comes from vibration of inductor and there is no other solution other than changing inductor.

PDIM will enable/disable device to achieve output current control.
